COUNSELING CENTER
Juniors and Seniors who are officers in organizations at EHS can participate in the 2011 Hearst Youth Senate Program. Students must take a qualifying social studies test. Two students from Nebraska who qualify will earn an expense paid trip to Washington DC in March 2011. See Mrs. Hightower by September 10 if interested.
Attention Students: After School Academy is Open! If you would like to get your homework done before you leave the building or have questions on your assignments, you are welcome to attend. After School Academy runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Library Media Center.
Navy Special Warfare Tryouts: Seniors interested in special NAVY forces are invited to special testing. Tests are monthly and registration is required. Contact Keith E Gerhard II at 712-242-6791 or Keith.gerhard@navy.mil for more information.
Student Athletes:
All students intending on playing at a NAIA division college MUST register with the NAIA Eligibility Center. To register, visit www.PlayNAIA.org. This is a new requirement for potential NAIA athletes. The NCAA Eligibility Center is for potential Div I & II athletes. See your counselor if you have questions.

If so, there is an Exploring Program that gives you the chance to explore a career path with local businesses. You will be able to receive specific information on what it takes to get into a career as well as hands on instruction by local professionals in these career areas.
