Welcome to the Elkhorn Electric Vehicle Team (commonly called Power Drive)!

Power Drive gives Elkhorn High School students an opportunity to plan a project that includes designing, fabrication, testing and racing a single place electric car against other area schools. You are among a group of people who emphasize learning by doing, and achieve their goals by working and playing hard within a team environment. In doing so, students learn principles of engineering and physics, use design and computer-aided tools, fabricate and test vehicle components, and manage the business of running their crews.

Naturally, the most important element of the Power Drive program is YOU! Our Power Drive team wants to "Win With Class" by demonstrating teamwork, respectfulness, sportsmanship, and team spirit. When you bring your skills and talents, time and dedication, ideas and commitments to the team, you help yourself and our team move forward.

• Tuesdays @ 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in EEVT Shop 
• Thursdays @ 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the EEVT Shop or in Mr. Vinopal's Room (D-208)
• "Blitz Saturdays" as announced
• Rallies are usually held on weekends between April to May
